didn't get e-mail on forgot password

try to use forgot the password and didn’t get any e-mail at all. Also, I can’t validate my new user because of this. Did I miss something?

I got this when I try to resend validate e-mail.

SMTP Error: Could not authenticate.

The SMTP server is down, this is the reason why you won’t receive emails.
