Finding IP address of email address

Hi guys! I’m pretty new to this, but I need to know if there’s a way to find the IP address of someone if I only have the name of their email. I’ve looked it up, and everything seems to involve the person sending you an email, and these people haven’t sent me any. The plan is to find their, IP address, then use that to see where they live and find their identity. It’s not like identity theft or anything, they just made a phony email to mess with some people, and I want to figure out who they are so I can confront them about it. Any help would be appreciated! you can send send to him a link who will redirect him to a web site and you will have his ip adress but if he have vpn or proxy you can’t but there is a lot of web sites who can create this link .

All u have to do is send him a tampered link that will capture his IP.
