so ie done all of the steps so far but i cant seem to open the file wihtout getting an error. please help Is My file corrupted in some way?

Are you sure that you use the right tool to open it? If you think that your file is really corrupted, try to DL that again?
I just verified that everything is working as intended. Keep at it and examine what you have. If you’re still unsure where to go from there, research what you have.
