I got the file to desktop, and I ran it through a file type detection tool. It said it was a .bmp file. So I saved it as a .bmp, but it won’t open. I don’t know why, maybe I have the wrong file type.
Don’t change anything on the file, even don’t rename it nor change its extension
Renaming it shouldn’t be a problem, it only changes the file system metadata and won’t interfere with the challenge.
Might be up to the OS. Changing the extension destroys it for me, don’t know why

Win7 and win10. Didn’t investigate for the reason like file comparing or sth
Dunno what went wrong, it’s been a while… I’ve just tested to reconstruct that error but now it works again like it should. really strange
