im kinda stuck here….

my idea was, that it was a combination of some of the early encryptions.
my idea was, that it was coded, the letters in the msg, were equal to other letters, and that the msg also was backwards…

but sadly, im stuck rather fast. since, the only word im “sure on” is the one before “:” which im guessing is “ssap” with turned around is “pass” you know like all the others end like that…

sooo i could really use a hint…

You are on the right track… now try to find what other words you can identify with the already known letters..

Hey Damage…

As i said, i cant find other words than “pass”. There is no more words which you can make from this.
you do get lots of letteres put in, but i cant create any words for sure, which means. im just guessing, and that is going up in flames rather fast….

Start from the short words, that has one of the known letters… then work from there

@new_spirit: if you give that much information, the rest is trivial..

If you have the word “pass” then you can use those three letters to fill up as much of the code as possible. It makes guessing easier.

Jast Look “qoymlNlpY :ccdf” and then you feed bak it “fdcc:Yplnlmyop” it’s mean fdcc = pass.

first run the crypt through ROT_13 then through decrypto 8.5

I don’t think ROT13 is going to help in any way…

Am I overthinking things? First thing I noticed was that both “i” and “d” are single-letter words. I only can think of two single-letter words in the english language, and of no sentence making sense at the place where they are..
I also pondered whether whitespaces where also replacements, but seeing a whitespace directly after a comma and so forth rules that one out, as well as punctuation being used as replacements. So I fear that the code is shifting throughout the sentence.. but that would be too hard I think..

i solved this level problem with the same method as previous level. i think it’s good to use online decryptor to make us confortable and the rest is just think about every single possibilities.

The warning exists in the page source for every browser. Don’t worry about it.

dodo456789: Each letter is used only once throughout. Although this puzzle threw me a bit as it doesn’t follow the wikipedia definition of cryptogram:

Cryptograms based on substitution ciphers can often be solved by frequency analysis and by recognizing letter patterns in words, such as one letter words, which, in English, can only be “i” or “a” (and sometimes “o”). Double letters, apostrophes, and the fact that no letter can substitute for itself in the cypher also offer clues to the solution. Occasionally, cryptogram puzzle makers will start the solver off with a few letters. The Cryptogram is also the name of the periodic publication of the American Cryptogram Association (ACA), which contains a large number of cryptographic puzzles
